Nail sticking up in the foot bed of shoe!

Thank you - order was easy to place and came right on time. I have multiple pairs of Paul Green shoes and have been completely happy (5 stars!) every time, until this last pair. I ordered the Cato Loafer in Tan/Brown and the right shoe came with something sharp poking up through the sole inside the shoe; I felt the poke when I slipped on the shoe. There was no way I could wear the shoe (it hurt to put it on), so I looked into exchanging, but the size I ordered was already sold out. I was worried about taking the shoe to a repair place - the pair cost me close to $500. I pulled the insert out of the shoe - it was simple to remove - and discovered a nail sticking straight up into the shoe interior. I've never had such an incident occur with Paul Green shoes before (or ANY shoes, for that matter) - usually this company is a sure bet on quality and style. I was able to remove the nail and replace the insert (there is now a small hole in the shoe bed underneath the insert) and I can wear the shoe. It was disappointing, though, considering the amount of money I spent on this pair of loafers - I've come to trust the quality of Paul Green shoes without question. Until now.
